Tried searching, now its time to ask the group.
I recently got a dj5 and am looking for a hard / soft shell case. Just wondering if theres any consensus on who makes a good case for Laklands. Thanks!

Levy's makes a lakland soft case, but I'm not big on it.. the best person to contact (unless someone here knows better) would be Brian @ Lakland. check the contact page on the lakland site. You should get a timely response.

thanks, guys. I'm very happy with this bass so far. I've been looking for that one bass for a while and I think I have it. The Sonic Blue might be the perfect compliment when it arrives. Though, I've been thinking I should've had that body natural as well.

Holy schnikes! That is incredible, E. Obviously, I've seen the neck in person, and it does look even better. But it looks better still combined with that body! The wood, the chrome and the black all work together so well. Congrats!Unwrapped:

it's just funny to see it on the bass, that's all. like evan doesn't know they're lakland pups or something.
I'm glad that sticker was there. I thought they gave me bogus import pickups until I saw that.. I was just in a rush to get pics taken so I didn't forget later while playing and teaching.
to think that I ordered this bass as an after thought and the long winding path taken to get the specs to what they are. So cool.

Oh, one last thing: This is now the unofficial "EM DJ" or the E-Mac signature bass. AC got his, but now it's time for the EM. Look out... OK, I'll stop.
