WOOHOO!!! Thanks man! It's down to a few choices. I've actually got about a week to decide, because I'm shipping it to Roger so he can route a new PG for it (since it's apparently a little different than the production models), then he will ship it to paint. I know I won't have an "Evan wait", but I will be completely bass-less for a couple of weeks. :(

You gonna survive? :D

You got it! Man, the color choice is a tough one for sure. I still can't decide myself. Go back and check the "show your Glaubs" thread on the LOG, if you haven't. Good stuff there.

Oh, I forgot you sold the DJ. Well, the wait will be so worth it.

congrats, mine is on its way, should have it by the end of the week.

i have a set of lakland flats that are going on it immediately.

Yeah, I'd already bought a set of LaBella flats for it. However, I figure I'll keep the rounds on for at least a week or two to have a good idea of the sound with rounds.

It arrived today. I won't get a chance to fire up the rig tonight, but love it unplugged! My first Lakland!

Sweet lord I need one so bad... Is that Skyline or US?

It's still an option, but I'm just trying to figure out what is the most "me". Just to add to the head spinning, I can't get that Sonic Blue out of my head after seeing your other DJ...
I dig sonic blue, but I think it looks better with a rosewood board myself. I'm not sure I've seen it with maple, though.

I was down on butterscotch until this past weekend, when I ran across the pic of the Glaub at the GTG. Looked great with the tort guard and maple board.

What else goes well with maple, hmmm...teal?:hiding:

Your new Lakies all look so beautiful, guys. GodDAMN! Especially that DJ with maple blocks. The one I'm still looking forward to most is E.'s Sonic Blue, though. :D

hmm...
Well I took one night of drunken thoughts too seriously and now I'm wracking my brain over it. Just look at my psychotic post history to see how crazy I've been over the last few days.

I really need your help, guys.
I'm thinking of installing new pickups in my Sky DJ. The main reason being I was bitten by the Marcus Miller bug and need 70's pickup locations.
I'm reading that the Single-coil Chi-Sonics can be housed in the bigger Humbucker covers.

Sorry, but I'll be stealing your pics, E. Are these up to scale?

Pretty late to the Chi-craze, but could anyone tell me the approximate dimensions of a big Chi-Sonic (big enough to cover a hole like the pics below?), and the inner anatomy of one? (can the poles/blades be aligned accurately? or is it one huge magnet)

Thanks, guys. I'll be getting some sleep now before I go even more crazy.
