I have a couple JMPs and a 2203. 4 4x12's and a 2x12.

I have 2 VBA400s. I LOVE them! I haven't had the chance to try any of the VBC cabs, though (I run them through my mid-80s Marshall JCM 800 Bass Series IBS cabs - 4x12 top/2x15 bottom). Can you describe the sound of that VBC810?

I actualy have the VBC 810 and the VBC 412. What I can tell you, they are built to last a life time. The sound of VBC 810 give you all the lows that you need and let rings the high as well. VBC 412 does a bit the same job but the mid are the one who come on top and it can suprise you.

For exemple if I want to play Maiden I need the 4X12, the mids aren't there enough on 8X10. Since most bass players play with 8X10 you are right on the spot with this one.

They were also design to work together, so I plugeg both cabs with the VBA 400 and it sounds like hell or heaven...:D And very loud!:bassist:

Thanks for the descriptions. Now I REALLY want to hear them for myself, hehe... I might just have to pull the trigger on a cab to try it out. No one around here has them in stock.

Thst's the best thing to do, try it yourself. No store keep them it stock unfortunately and I don't know why when you look at the quality of Marshall products. When I ordered my VBC 412, I had to wait 4 months. Build on order. For VBA 400 and VBC 810 they had one of each in Canada available, so within a week, it was home.

I'm sold out to Marshall (can't help it) but anybody who tries both cab at the same time will be totally blow away that's for sure! :bassist:

This MB-30 was my first amp. It did a great job as such but now I've grown it out (can you say that in English?). I borrowed it to a friend who I teach but I'm not going to sell it.

I'm pretty intrested in the VBA and aslo in the MB-450 but there are other amps I'll get before them.

I also own a MG100HFX and a matching 412 cab.
