That sounds logical sense they have advertised a valve bass head used by Lemmy. I have been using the 450H and so far I like it.

Maybe for the domestic/European market, but I tried to order a new VBC412 cab a few weeks ago, from an authorized Marshall dealer here in Canada, and was told "sorry, no longer available: out of production". :(

Take good care of that amp. If you ever fancy getting something else, let me know, and I'll buy it from you. That is a kinda rare Marshall Bass State 150, and I have always wanted one.

Seriously... Do not thrash it, or I will hunt you down...

Has anybody played through one of these? Fun, and OK volume, decent almost-grindy sound. Haven't tried it with drums and guitars yet, but might cut it in a pickle. 3005, 2- 1x10, 30 watt.

i've read a lot of cool stuff in this forum over the past month but didnt participated by myself. i want to change that. so here is my first post on talkbass at all.

just got the used 2x15 Jubilee (1525) today and its totally beast with the 4x10. especially in conjunction with source audio BEF (settings: 2-pole low pass filter, eq boost at 50hz and rest of spectrum cut) :hyper:

the 1x15 Behringer at the right got grilled by the 7400 one year ago. so i decided to pick up one of the MB series cabs. never regretted it. i struggled a long time which cab to buy in addition to the 410s. the mbc115 seem to fit but after a period of research i just decided the 115 cant compete in combination with the 410 - despite the guy at marshall support who said that they are soundvolume-wise pretty much the same. yesterday i finally found that sweet 2x15 jubilee cab on ebay offered by a local retailer.

If I was you, I would re-tolex. So that way, it will sound as good as it looks!

I'm a Marshal enthusiast. My main rig is Marshall VBA 400 with VBC 810. But I also use VBC 412.

Yeah, the VBA400 + VBC 810/412 look awesome. Unfortunately i did not have the opportunity to hear such a rig live yet.

I guess i will re-tolex the 1525 just for appreciation of that great piece of gear :D

I don't think that would be the way to go. Jubilee cabs are pretty rare, and the silver tolex looks awesome, IMHO. Of course, it's your cab, and YOU have to be happy with it. :)

I'm looking for a second VBC412 to stack with mine, does anyone have any leads?

Guitar center used, craigslist, and ebay were just overflowing with them last year when I bought it, now it looks like Marshall doesn't even actively support its successor, the MB line. I guess I should have planned ahead and bought a second one back then, but I just didn't have the need or the money.

I'd also accept leads on a VBC 810.

I'm in San Francisco, but willing to pay for shipping as long as total cost is under a grand.
