Official Marshall Amp Club!

I know they have bought Eden, but when I have visited the Marshall factory last summer, they did not tell anything about the end of the bass products.

I was at the NAMM Show, and I dropped by the Marshall booth. Not seeing any bass amps/cabs, I asked and was told "We bought Eden for bass". I asked "So, no more Marshall branded bass gear?". They replied "That's right". I'm sad.... :(

Finally got a Marshall Cabinet to go with my Superbass. It's a 1510 & Sorry about the cell phone quality picture.

Hi my name is Ethan. I'm the bass player for Alien Weaponry and playing mostly 5 string active basses. Cool to find others who are using Marshall bass gear. A lot of bass players I've met diss Marshall. I love my Marshalls, I find they give me the growl I need to fill in my part in the band (we are a VERY heavy three piece) I Love the tube pre-amp sound ... I'm using two Bass State 150s at the moment (staked up, see photo) but I am just shifting to a brutal stack MBB450H + MBC410 + MBC115 (should kick ass!) Here is a photo of my setup from our summer tour. (Our manager had to do my profile 'cause it said I was too young to be on here lol.) Check out our sound on FB or SoundCloud

I have started a new band and none of the musicians I'm playing with have played with a bass player who uses Marshall. They all been blown away by how great is my bass tone. Let's hope Marshall will change their minds and start building again bass products. At least build again the VBA and VBC series.

I assume you're using your VBA 400/VBC 810 combo? \m/ \m/

You ready to sell me that VBC 412 yet? Hehehehe... :D

Cheers!
