Anyone here have any advice? Would any 2p3t switch work properly if wired back up the same way? I found the switch from the gen 2 tb500, just not the gen 1.

We have our first gig back (in fact my first gig with this band) next Friday. The AD200 is coming but I'm tossing up between the Berg NXT212 and the OBC810. Either will be great but the Orange will be the stuff of epics

AD200B is such a great amp. Sounded solid as feck at gig listed above. Not necessarily loud, but muscular, thick and a joy to play thru that wunnerful NV215 cab.
I didn't touch the controls after 2nd song. So much touch response AND tonal response just by playing differently.
I had the MASTER VOLUME up full, GAIN on about 10 o'clock or maybe 11, (didn't really look)... MIDS 8/10, TREBLE about 4/10, BASS about 3/10.
Superb!
Used my Stingray 5 all night too. The Gibson EB4, I usually use with this band & amp, so thought I'd give the Ray a play. That was wunnerful too.
My NV215 is from '07 or something... I bought it new, sold it a cuppla yrs later, when I THOUGHT neo, lightweight was the way to go, realized the error of my ways, bought it BACK from the guy I sold it to, perhaps 5 yrs later... it almost got lost by a slack freight company
which took around 4 weeks of it being in 'no man's land', but, finally got it back and it's been cherished ever since.It's actually got a 6" MID DRIVER, which is adjustable by a dial on rear panel, like a tweeter. And this supplies all the tops I need. I like it way more than any tweeter I've used. Very smooth. And superb with the AD200B's organic drive too
I think I have it at about 75% on, open, whatever... sounds great, that's all that matters!

Yesternight's rig. Plenty loud for both room and patio, where most people mingled. Ironically, the first time since I got the Terror Bass and those 112 where I could actually drive them some. Thanks, Covid. At any rate, rocked hard.
Had a Broughton SV-Pre in front, and the Terror Bass works very nicely with it. I was anxious how the SVT-vibe might mix with the Orange's mid-frontness, but it turned out to be best-of-both-worlds for me. Kept the SV-Pre in the clean vicinity, and used the Terror for my base tone / dirt. DI-out before the Terror for some PA support (which we turned off after the first couple of songs; as said, more than loud enough). Additional dirt options via the MBD2. Worked like a charm for Alternative / Metal.

The Terror Bass and 2x OBC 112 worked splendidly for this kind of set, in a semi-open-air situation. I can highly recommend this compact, light, portable setup for small to medium-sized gigs in that vain. Not so sure about all-in Death Metal, but I'll get a chance early next year to give it a shot in that context.

That's interesting you mentioned the neo vs other drivers. I heard some similar comments how there's a difference in the lightweight cabs have a different tone than the classic weighty stuff. I've been on the fence of buying a 212 neo cabinet but also wondering if it's better suited to buy another OBC115.
I use cabs with Neo drivers in most of the time. Specifically a sealed Bergantino HG410, and a couple of 115 Fender Bassman Pro Neo cabs. I take the NV215, 1. It sounds great, 2. It is pretty compact and easy to roll in/ out, thanx to its inbuilt wheels.
Mostly coz it'll do a superb job. It's just that bit easier than the 2 single 15 Fender cabs, and that it's able to cope with the volume and power I'll need for the particular gig.
So I don't really favour the ceramic drivers, just that it's the cab with the particular form factor and power handling capabilities that are desired.
I've often thought about the Mark Bass classic 151, another sealed 215. But I've not come across one in the flesh.
I think a well designed cab is a well designed cab, whichever drivers are in it.
My 2 Fender 115s are Neo, and ported, but they sound superb with either the AD200B or Fender Super Bassman.... neither sealed nor ceramic.
Go with what suits your needs and ears

Hey friends! I'm new to this family, having just bought an Orange Little Bass Thing. I considered a number of other amps, but the tone of this one kept me coming back. I'm enjoying how interactive it is ... and it's so touch-sensitive and warm. It makes my fretless really sing, and I just love it.
The Terror Bass finally arrived yesterday. The rig is complete. Love the sound of this amp.
Here's the full rig after my 2nd OBC112 arrived. The addition of the 2nd cab really makes this set up shine. Lots of punch and low end. Haven't used it in a band setting yet since we've been using rehearsal studios that already have amps and cabs (older Ampeg and Mesa stuff). We've got a couple gigs next month and I'm looking forward to letting this setup rip a little.
I have the same rig and love it. I also have a Terror Bass which is also excellent, and much lighter.
