Very nice! The weight of the amp doesn't bother me at all since my previous #1 amp was an SVT.

Finally got myself a second OBC112 and was able to put it through it's paces at a rehearsal this past weekend with a very loud and heavy psychedelic doom band.
This is an excellent setup and, although not the quite exactly the same.. it can get very very close IMHO to a AD200B through a pair of OBC115s-- at much less weight.

I tried out an OB1-500 today and while the tone grew on me the more I played it, the thing I loved was the heft and punch of every single note. That said, I didn't really care for the blend in distortion and prefer pedals I already have for that. I can't justify the price if I'll just be using half of the amp, so I was wondering about the Little Bass Thing.

Maybe check out the Four Stroke.
My impression of the LBT is that it's kind of a tubeless, distortion-less version of the Terror Bass. It also adds semi-parametric mids and built-in compression. The demos I've heard of it sound huge, but ymmv.
I have a Terror Bass, which I prefer.
I may have to see where I can source one out, but I think I'd like to go back to the class D size.
New head day! Finally got to try this out last night at a practice at full volume. I expected to sound great with the electric basses but I was not expected how good it sounded with the upright. And because of some weird British voodoo there was no feedback at all even though I had to skip the compressor/noise gate due to not having long enough cables on me. And I even leaned the upright face front against the cab and no feedback at all.
I posted on your thread about the Mesa WD800 and OB1-500, but I'll also add here that while the Little Bass Thing should be able to give you that Orange heft to the notes that you like, it should also give you much more variety in your sound with the semi-parametric mids. Maybe not as much as the WD800 or the 4 Stroke, but more than the OB1. And again, that heft.
I have the LBT and the AD200B. I used to have the original TB and I had the OB1. They are all related sound-wise, but each one has it's strength. The OB1 is a great all around analogue amp. It has heft and can take pedals great. It is quite heavy though. The LBT is easy to transport, it has an excellent clean punchy sound and can be quite modern thanks to the onboard compressor. Both the OB1 and the LBT are better than the TB MkI, both have the "orange sound" and both are great for direct recording or playing straight to FOH.
I am very happy with the LBT. I sometimes like the cleans on it a bit better than the AD200B (mostly on more "agile" songs and because of the compressor), but nothing takes a fuzz like the AD.
Put an octave, an overdrive or a muff into an AD and you will smile instantly.
Man, I haven't played much in months because of skool and I love my orange rig!!! I love how my Jazz basses get that slight breakup tube sound when playing through my terror head.

The first gen Terror Basses had some reliability issues in the power supply. They discontinued both the 500 and 1000 then brought back the 500 MkII recently (last couple of years).
They now use a different power supply than before. Possibly getting a 1000 watt one to match just wasn't feasible.
Is an Orange Crush Bass 25 enough to get me into the club? I've only been playing bass for a week, so I haven't had the time to get more.

Also, there was no real need for 1000 watts of D power. It brought virtually (acoustically?) almost no advantages and had more energetic consumption.
....but it's like those old vintage Marshall amps where the volume knob went to 11. It looks cool, 1,000 !

Im looking forward to this- I've got some Orange guitar stuff- Orange bass stuff is not as common here in the USA. I've always liked it when I hear it though! So I'll post when it comes- here's a promo pic.

The Orange Crush 50 had me with the 12" speaker and the effects loop- this can do everything my Rumble 40 can do, but offers a few possibilities.. The interactive gain and blend "bi-amping" circuit sounds filthy fun!
While I was concerned about lack of a line out I realized the effects loop solves that- loop in your DI box of choice for a post-EQ XLR signal.Im looking forward to this- I've got some Orange guitar stuff- Orange bass stuff is not as common here in the USA.
