Haha sounds familiar. "You should have got a full-stack or better a fridge, this will never be loud enough" at first, then later "okay, colour me surprised!" – "Master was at 12 o'clock, Gain at 9 o'clock" – "…"
I won't run the Orange Terror stack for the next two shows, they're direct-only. But looking forward to the one after that, when I can get out the big guns again.
This band is direct in but I'll always pack my stack, looks good and love the full sound of both speakers and the sound man, always fun to mess with the sound man, . I have had a couple times where I went to jam with a band and only brought one speaker and then find out they have a hard hitting drummer. Still plenty loud and the looks people have, priceless.
That was such a great crowd, it's been a long time since I've haven't had a crowd like that. They where crazy and when we did the song "show them to me" things got interesting.

Not sure if this is a tube thing but when I power on my Terror Bass, there's some sort of scratchy sound like the pots are dirty. It quickly goes away but is this something I should be aware of or does my amp need to be serviced? I have it about a year and used not too much, never at anything super loud.
How long does it take? Is it directly at start and without you touching anything? Or do you manipulate the knobs and get the sound?
I would either way advise for you to let a professional take a look (remote diagnosing is silly at best and downright dangerous at worst).

With almost any tube amp, or, amp that has small/ pre amp tubes, I've found it's handy to have a couple of GOOD spares. If I remember correctly, the TB500 uses 2 12AX7's.
That way you can try a different 12AX7 in V1 or V2 and see if the problem goes away or doesn't.
12AX7'S are pretty cheap, and easy to acquire.
If it's fixed by a swap, you can mostly be sure it was a faulty tube.
If not, Dr. time.

Sorry I missed this reply! I haven't experienced it and wonder if I was doing something wrong. I'll have to check again as I'm using my Mesa more than the Orange amp right now.
Probably from the '70s. I have an old Orange catalogue with them in it.
Dug the catalogue out tonight!
From the 1976 price list. $695US then is about $3300US today!
Also had THESE earlier 2x15 cabs & head…they were John McVie's from the Peter Green Fleetwood Mac days. He had four of them…sold them off in a "Fleetwood Mac Garage Sale" at their warehouse in CA in the '80s.

I have no doubt that set up sounds as amazing as it looks!!! That and it was once owned by John McVie.
It's likely to be the center frequency of the Midrange control. To demonstrate what it does, crank up the midrange control, then vary the frequency control across its entire range from boost to cut.
I keep wanting to check out the LBT but the fixed increment dials just kill it for me. Probably something you don't even notice but something about the concept irks me.

Added something to my modest but loud Orange collection. The Orange Two Stroke.
This pedal really complements the AD200. Lets me crank out just the right frequencies to get some aggressive but still thunderous tone with my basses, especially my Gibson Thunderbird which is quite heavy in the lows and low mids already. To be honest I could probably carry an entire set with just the Two Stroke if I wanted but variety is the spice of life

I thought it may be a detriment to the head but it really isn't. The fixed increments are in halves so it seems to work out well without being a big jump between settings.
I missed the boat on those OBC210's, I would have picked up on to pair with the OBC115. While I love the deep sound of the 115 having the mix of 10's would be perfect.
