Back in the 70s, I was in a band named Gypsee Eyes. We had a deal with a local music store for Orange amps & used them a lot. I had three that I can remember. I don't know if Orange knew about us but we never had to pay for the amps. I always liked them & am glad to see they have come back.

The Orange head is the one new tube amp that I haven't tried. I'm a bit scared that if I do try one, I might NEED to own one.

I share your apprehension.

During the Summer of '06 through the early '07, I was driving out to Iowa on business about every two to three months. I'd make a point of stopping in at West Music in Davenport to play through that amp.

I'm not a big fan of tube amps, but I must say if I could justify the cash outlay, I'd love to have one. The tone is just so "right".

They had the head plugged into the 410 and the 115... I like the look of Jazzman's 2x115 rig better.

love these amps and their sound. the tubey thickness and warm round sound is what really attracts me to these orange beauties.

I have been to Humbucker's site a few times now, but I did actually call Apple Music Row in Portland Oregon today. They're the closest dealer (well maybe - I can't stand going to Seattle, and Portland's *almost* closer with traffic) and they've got your rig in stock right now.

Damn you and your rig Jazzman! Wish I'd never seen it now...just when I thought I'd licked GAS. Yours is the coolest looking one I've ever seen.

I can't comment on the 4x10, but have been getting PM's about the 1x15...I have a review of it here.
