Time to hop in the wayback machine and enjoy the offerings of Orange in the '70s...

The other photo shows Orange staff loading various Celestion Greenbacks, EV SROs and (if I read it correctly) Goodman 15s into cabinets.

It was always a religious experience to come face to face with british amps as a teenager growing up in Michigan in the '70s, my first encounter was with Marshalls at the area's big music store (I still vividly remember the sight and smell of seeing my first Marshall stack in person) and also visiting family in the St. Louis area and seeing a wall of Orange 4x12s!!!

I wondering what all of your thoughts are on the Terror bass head. I can't $$ swing the all tube head. Also, I was thinking about pairing it with the SP 410. What do you guys think?? I would be using this for small to medium sized gigs. Thanks!!

OK, I'm in. Orange Terror Bass 500. My main amp for practice and small gigs, coupled with 2-1x12 Bergie's. Killer sound, louder than hell, nice weight to the notes - never thought a class D amp could thump; this one does.

Yee-haa! I just ordered a TB500 and a SP410. I had to order from 2 different places. MF had the head and no cab, and PB had the cab, but like my ex-wife, no head

?? Is flat on the TB500 the same as on the tube head?

I'm pretty sure flat is different between the AD200b and TB.

I can't say as I want to see them change the OBC115, it sounds so good and really isn't that heavy. Countrybassist, I think you'll like the new Terror Bass rig you bought. I use a TB500 with an SP212 sometimes, and it produces a great sound with plenty of volume. I add on the OBC115 for larger gigs, and it makes an unbelievable rig.

I came across a crush bass 100 for a great price and i would like to be able to attach a 2x10 or similar to boost the presence.

You can hook up another cab to it. So that brings up the question on what the omage is when it's by itself. If it's a 8ohm speaker then it probably pumps out 75watts, and 100 if a second cab is connected.

Or it could be like the Terror Bass and be at 100watts weather it's running at 4 or 8ohms.
