just got back from namm.

they had a one-off 5000 watt bass terror. i know this sounds like a joke, i swear it's true.

I saw this head with my own eyes at the Orange HQ here in Atlanta. They had all the gear from NAMM in one room. The 5000 watt head was made by the Chinese manufacturers just for kicks. The power cord was a massive speakon style plug.

That is a really nice looking rig! I never thought about how the SP410 would look with the 115. Very nice!

My old band have asked me to rejoin, and im happy to! They/we have been lucky/worked hard enough to get some help from Orange amps. They have agreed on an endorsement so myself and the two guitarists are looking at rigs for March onwards.

I already have the AD200b, and matching 4x10 + 1x15. They cost me a lot so I'm looking at another main heavy touring rig from Orange.

I'm thinking of the Bass Terror plus two SP212s. Small and punchy! Failing that, another OBC 115 or 410 so I can mix and match for big shows and just take one and let that do all the work going around the UK and Europe.

I would love the 8x10, but I really don't think we could handle the size. But I want it!

I may look into a backup AD200b...all depends.

What would you do?

The whole backline is going to be Orange.

I would get another AD200b if you like the tone, and get two SP410's. You said you wanted the 8x10 and I have a feeling that the two 410's would be sick.

I've got an AD200B, an AD30tc, and a Tiny Terror 1x12.

I used to have an AD30htc, a 4x12 and a 2x12, but I ran out of space.

You could also consider two SP212 cabs. I love the sound of the SP212 and this would make quite a light and manageable stack. I am going to purchase a second SP212 next.

Well finally pulled the trigger. Ordered a terror bass head and two 115 cabs from humbucker music. They are telling me it will be two weeks on the cabinets though. It is going to be a rough two weeks.

The last time I was on the order page drooling at them I saw that Humbucker had them "on order". I wonder if Orange is short on supplies or if their selling like hotcakes.
