Found my GV's to be a bit plain, so I made pickguards for them! Made ones in black, tort and mirror, and hod the mirror on this one until last night. Swapping the mirror for the tort didn't seem like it'd work, but I absolutely love it. Definitely looks better in person though.

Borrowed the pickguard design very heavily from the Modulus Flea bass, as they and the GV/ Millenniums have a similar body, IMO.

Where can I find one of these? I want to add to my Peavey collection. How much am I looking to spend?

Only place to find them is on the used market, and you have to constantly be on the lookout. They don't come up very often at all (I snagged 2 of the 3 or 4 I've seen the past year), and when they do, people usually snatch them up very quickly. Pricing can vary, but I'd say somewhere in the $500+ range is a pretty good start.

I want to be in this club.... I have been trying to get a black holoflake Gv for years!

One of the GV's on the GC site is a black holoflake, although, it's priced higher than I'd pay at the moment. It's been there a while, and I anticipate a price drop within a couple weeks. Might be good to keep an eye on it!

I've had at least one of each (G and G V). They're all gone, now, though, so I guess I don't get to be in the club. :-(

Notice the upgraded Millennium preamp. The Mill pre was a nice upgrade on the GV, but it REALLY woke up the G Bass!

Recent owner of a like-new GV. Still getting used to the 35" scale, but getting better at it. How long were the GVs in production for and how much did they go for on the street when new? The manual that came with mine was dated 1999, so I am guessing that is when mine is from (the original serial stickers were long removed by a previous owner)....

also... can i get a number?!:hyper:
