I have the Audere 3 band. I has some amazing tones, in fact I get complimented by sound guys all the time about how much actual low end it puts out.

P.S. I've noticed your bass has a beautiful walnut pickguard. What made you go that route? The block inlays are genius I might add! It's making me want an "F" model bass myself!

Wil and I came up with the F model, as a throwback. If you look close the scratchplate is Wenge/maple/Wenge and the block inlays are Wenge. I wanted block inlays, and binding, they look great. And Wil had the idea of the wood v MOP or plastic. This was the first time he tried the wood block inlays, and the turned out great. Sounds nice too.

Sorry...I remember reading Wenge...but off the top of my head...I said walnut by mistake.. Were you going for the Marcus Miller style or was it plainly your creation?

Indeed. Sorry to see Wilser's website go down. It IS a one of a kind club now. Naturally, I would hope that he gets going again..but realistically, I can see how expensive this endeavor must be. Building anything for a profit has to be tough in today's economy. Perhaps anyone that is in touch with him can let him know we all say hello!
Don't own it missed my chance twice now but this is a Ramirez that comes and goes on this site that's probably my favorite all time bass and hopefully I'll get another chance at her one day haha the one that got away

Sorry bro. Ahtur’s bass was the last one finished and had to return deposits/parts/etc for everything else that was in progress after that point. I still have boxes with the incomplete bodies, necks and some of the more specialized tools, jigs and templates I made for my basses hoping to be able to re-open at some point in the future, but stars have not yet aligned for that to happen. I may finish Chris’ P inspired CC this year as all it needs is some small final shaping tweaks and sanding I can do without any tools, basically sandpaper, but I’ve been putting it off all these years for fear of getting nostalgic about the work and then depressed that I can’t really do it like I used to.
Mark my words, though, one day you will log in to TB, navigate to luthier’s corner and see a brand spanking new build thread full of mid-humpy goodness!

Good to hear from you, Wilser. The headless, fretless six-string has been around the world and is still going strong.
