"Official" Roscoe Action Shots thread!(from Roscoe Forum)

Thanks Oren and Jerry,

Ive been told that there are a few more vids and pics out there Im trying to track down. I actually dig looking back and finding errors and such in my playing...even seeing my body language/vibe is kind of interesting...didnt know what I looked like :)

Anyways...this was recorded with the blend toward the neck thus the more round, Pish vibe going on...I tell ya I think I may found a great combo... A Bartolini Cb in the neck and the Roscoe wound in the bridge....plan to try that out in the coming weeks.

Ryan...badass. Great pics - thanks for sharing! Any chance we might get a taste of the audio? (I really wanna' hear that guitar - I understand "CoolerInFrontofAmp" is going to be the best-selling stomp box of the year @ Rocket Music.) :ninja:

Jerry,

We just uploaded a video on Facebook from our gig at a downtown bar this past weekend---We were doing "She Sells Sanctuary" by The Cult for the first time ever. It was requested, and a couple of us kinda knew it, so bear with us......:o:hmm: Can't quite figure out why my wife picked *that* song to video, but oh well.;)

Also, this bar has a house PA, which sounded OK, but with no subs, and our sound was at the mercy of the house soundguy.:hmm: Video was shot just using my wife's digital camera, but I thought it came out OK, all things considered.

Also, check out the pics from later in the night---the place was packed!! Had an absolute blast.

Thanks! :)

All in all, I didn't think the song went to bad, considering we'd never played it together as a band before (although 3 of us had covered it in different bands over the years)--Dane didn't know the lyrics too well, but on that song, it really doesn't matter. I never have been able to pick out exactly what Ian from the Cult was singing in that one.:) But it's one of those songs where it's really fun to just play straight 1/8 notes through the entire song, IMO.

Oh, and you can probably tell who the guy was that requested it---he's the happy looking little fellow bouncing around on the dance floor.;)

The cool thing about this place is that they actually paid quite well, plus free food/drinks all night for the band. No loading in our own PA just made it that much nicer, too.

But I hear ya---the fun that we had there (as seen from the pics, GREAT crowd) made the money almost an afterthought. I LOVE having nights like this one. And we're now working with the owners to be on a regular rotation there, so that'll be great. It's only a couple miles from my house, so it's a winning deal all the way around.:hyper:

We played this past Sunday for a benefit at a place called the Texas Music Park. It looked to be about 40 acres that they had thinned some of the trees but was still pretty wooded. Two stages, beautiful day, good cause and a fun time.

They are indeed black :)

Little by little..the conversion is happening.

The SWR was a borrowed amp. I actually REALLY dig that little thing..I had never tried a single 15 setup but now Im hooked. I actually offered to buy it from the guy but no dice. I used a workingpro for awhile. Really loved the overall tone but alas gas.

Actually really stoked. We were approached about recording a CD for our church. Basically a studio version of all of our current hits. It will be 100% Roscoe ! Ill keep you posted...slated to start in the next couple of weeks.

Hey man I've been there :D. I spent a weekend there and there were little "jams" everywhere.;) Not to mention a few "regional" acts like the Dixie Chicks (before Nat Maines joined).
