Official Zon Club Part 5

Id like to mention that I was off time slightly at some parts, and that i was also off key at certain bits (this is in D major, with a few accidentals i added in a bit)
My influences for this piece were Zander Zon and a slight bit of Vic Wooten as well :)
There were only two bass parts, the 2nd part doesnt come in until the drums come in! If youd like to watch a playthrough, here it is!

Also, i know im new to the club, but i think most of you can agree with this statement...
Id say lets leave all of the ZonFraud stuff to the Zon warning thread, UNLESS there is a good resolution... This is not discrediting MaidenBass or mr.gittleman. I totally respect their situation and wish them the best, but its just creating havok and disorder in this group. This is the Zon CLUB, after all! ;)

I am just glad to hear than Joe is at NAMM. Last year they had quite a bit of online presence before NAMM, and this year nothing. I haven't even seen a pic of anyone at the booth. I am glad to know everything is ok with the company.

I don’t think they had a booth, Joe goes to NAMM to hang out and visit people. He was at NAMM last year too but Zon didn’t have a booth or show basses.

I'm glad the mods cleaned up the infighting and excess, but I'm also glad that they left the complaints intact. I for one don't think this or any other "club" thread should only contain positivity.

Yes, there now is a Zon warning thread, but going forward, if there happens to be another complaint, I'd like to see it posted here -- perhaps a brief summary, along with "check the warning thread for further details".

Agreed, however i think that it was just getting blown out of proportion somewhat simply due to everyone elaborating over it. I totally agree with seeing more complaints as they come. Definitely wasnt trying to say “Lets have the club ONLY be positive” :)
I think the negative bits are also just as helpful and interesting. However when the whole thing becomes centered on the negative things, it kinda ruins the purpose. Idk, again im pretty new and i dont run anything by any means, but was just a suggestion :)

Wow so I was following that thread, came back 12 hours later, looks like Maiden Bass has been banned,no thread anymore,so the whole thing was BS ?

Unless you watched this unfold from the beginning about a month ago, and kept watching it, I don't believe you can give a proper assessment of the OP: Maiden Bass.

He flamed this thread, heavily edited his posts, virtue signaled to deflect criticism, and posted a picture of Joe Zon's son. After he got Joe's attention (who was at bass bash @NAMM) he told everyone to call off the mob, said he would remove his police report, and wanted to change the title of his "Zon Warning" thread to "Zon Experience."

Within the warning thread we learned that this all boiled down to Joe not getting back to him for 2 weeks in late December. Y'know, the holidays...

As someone who watched this closely, my opinion is that Maiden Bass used this forum and its users as a bargaining chip against Zon to get what he wanted.
