With that said, here’s a recent recording of my Zon. Rough mix but man, what a great sounding bass. Recorded direct through a 2di4, no additional sweetening.
    Not Yet (rough mix)

I received a new Legacy Standard 5 direct from Joe Zon around the end of last summer. It is an excellent bass, and I would say the best import bass that I have ever played. Almost as good as a US Zon, but without the graphite neck.

I sold the bass to my friend @Darren02 and you could send him a PM with questions about it and I am sure that he would answer you.

And FYI his bass is currently for sale in the classifieds For Sale - 2018 Zon Legacy Standard 5 NEAR MINT

    Oh and one more thing!
In 2018 the pickups and electronics were upgraded to Aguilar. In the past they were different. I played one a couple years ago (don't remember exactly when) but it had Seymour Duncan pickups and not sure what kind of preamp, and it played great but the sound was a little lacking IMO. The new electronics sound excellent IMO!

We’ve been getting a lot of reports for this thread so I’m going to close this for now. Once we sort through them and clean it up, it will reopen.

Do not start another Zon Club thread.
