There's a guy down the street from me selling an Epi T Bird IV (not the Pro) for $150 right now. I'm still not interested!Back when I found a guy selling a Epiphone Thunderbird IV on Craigslist for $150 years ago
The older bolt on Epi's go pretty cheap, but the p/u's were ghastly.

I have a Classic Pro. Couldn't be happier with it.
They've been putting more effort into those Epi 'birds for a few years now, the gap between that and the Gibson version is slowly closing. Positive reviews = demand = higher prices.

Epiphone's parent company is a little short of funds... maybe trying to boost revenue for a sell-off.
Guessing it's for three reasons:
1. No 2018 Gibson Thunderbirds, so this is the only game in town
2. Epi Classic Pro T-birds are no joke and a solid product
3. The price of materials continues to increase - we'll see this in every aspect of our lives

Speak for yourself! We just got our second pay raise in six months! Usually get them October 1st but thanks to the corporate tax cuts the large corporation I work for decided to give it to us six months early!
Hey, that's terrific! I'm talkin' about the music biz. Places are going to duos or karaoke around here. They tell us what they'll pay and we can take it or sit at home. Well that is true for sure! Clubs around here don't book as many bands as they used to. Those that do want to pay as little as possible. I don't know how most people could make it being a full time musician unless they were playing for some big name touring act.
The part that sucks is that if we say that's not enough $ ,3 other bands will take it. We played a semi-regular gig Friday night that we used to enjoy,even tho the money is low. We have/had a bit of a following there but because the manager had a wild hair and kept telling us to turn down(any lower and the amps woulda been "off"),we lost half our crowd 'cause we couldn't do our regular stuff. The guitarist refuses to go back unless they up the $ and leave us the hell alone. We know what we're doing. It ain't our first rodeo. People in the back of the room said they could see our lips moving but couldn't hear the PA(JBL EON ONE). We won't be going back. Screw them and anyone who looks like them(George Carlin)

Piano strings intonation and pickup height and now I have the most perfect bass for the styles I play. Imagine squires tone on roundabout with a pick and long distance runaround with the neck pickup. I'm gonna buy another ebony one. I have owned Rick's and my Alpine white VP is better than a rich imo
