Oh crap! New Musicman Basses

Got mine today... It Growls!!

I took the new Caprice on a local gig last night. . It sounded amazing.. i set it up the way i like it as the night moved on. A small tweak here and there.
Its extremely punchy.. It can growl like a normal P bass but with both pickups turned up it almost had a smooth Active type sound..
Used my Peavey MiniMega and an Uber 115 tweeter on about 40%
The bass is 8.4 pounds so real light.

Played one at GC for a while today. Wow! Fit/finish was fantastic, setup was perfect, and the tone was sooo nice. Loved the P solo, the PJ combined was nice (similar to my Fender PJ but a bit more modern), and the solo J was meh. Overall I was very impressed, I'll be getting one this year for sure.

Is it so difficult to find original names ?
They're bringing out a Cutlass model that completely different from what it once was, a Sabre with a graphite neck.
They did that too with the Sterling cheapo range 2 years ago.

The basses themselves are cool, they do what sells while retaining their personnality.
