I'm sure there is a logical explanation:
- maybe it's to get extra sustain on the 'B' perhaps????
- maybe a right-handed bass played upside-down by a lefty????
- maybe it was strung the same day that weed was legalized in that state????

It probably slid out due to force exerted by the creative stringing.

I love my Ibanez basses but I hate to admit ive bought a couple used ones that had some very questionable stringing. Sadly never an issue on any other brand...

I have a hard enough time dealing with things when the silks don't come out even.
