I understand not wanting this for 5 grand. But to not want this at all I don't understand. Its a pieces of history and from the sound of it, an engineering feat, since many techs can't even figure them out.

When I had mine - cab, not head, the waves of mud enveloped everything. Sound guys hated me as to get any stage volume you would be killing the back of the room.
There is a good reason 18" reflex cabinets aren't made much anymore.
That was 1985 and the market for cheap used bass gear consisted of stuff like this. I paid 100.00 for it and never regretted letting it go.

Sorry, it takes up half a room in your house, but is too loud for you to play it there. It takes a number of people to move it, if you can find some that will help. Got a truck? You'll need one to get it to a gig. You need three cabs to use its 'full potential'. Regularly and repeatedly we hear that the amp doesn't sound that great and the cabs were worse. If it breaks, you're going to have trouble finding someone who can actually service it.
To me its like saying that you should be excited to buy an old mainframe computer even though there are drawbacks in comparison to a computer you can buy off the shelf today.
I can see using the full rig... but I play in an unusually loud genre, even for rock music.
Call me a softy for ridiculous large out of date electronics then. I have a 4 track collection and old radios. Record players and whatnot. This beast would fit right in.
Interesting amp, and I love loud, but I'd build my own custom high wattage tube amp before I plunked down on that.
If I had a 10 year contract as a house band doing allman bros type music id buy it, hire some.big goons to move it into place on stage, and if it sounded like cr@p id ghost my 400+ through it anyways 
Those W cabs had a rep for being efficient. Read the thread about a guy in Europe thinking about building one. And the comments.

Let's not lead others into temptation. I need new furniture for my apartment and just dropped cash on that dually and a TV.
And I think fender or someone should keep it in a museum or at least unmolested at home.

They got an SVT, and a 200 watt and 400 watt all tube HiWatt's in there too. You should really go have a look around.

This a store or a guy on craigslist? I'm leaning towards an orange bass terror and getting a custom head case made by a guy in the S/D forum. I still haven't played an SVT ever to be honest.
I'd like to try the AD200 too but it's so damn expensive if I liked it I'd just have to walk away from it no doubt.
It's that pawn shop by Barton Springs that's basically a music store that just happens to be a pawn shop. Used to be Doc Holidays years ago.
Everything in there is overpriced, but that's just to see who's dumb enough to actually pay it. I've got a couple fair deals from them, but don't have enough history there to do you any good by saying I sent you or anything like that. It is fun to look around though, and everybody that works there is a musician of some kind and generally pretty cool.
Oh I've been there many times. I once bought a bad monkey pedal there and it was $25 + tax and he rang it up and took my $20 and said have a good day, so I appreciate them.
Also bought other pedals, and traded a cornet I found for a mustang bass there. Yearly for SXSW they have a huge sale too.

A guy I know that plays in another band out in Roundtop got rid of his Markbass for some Orange combo, probably the same preamp as the Terror. The DI off of it sounded really good with his MusicMan bass. Nice fat tone with a lot of "tubey" character to it. The bigger Terror amp probably sound really nice with your Dually.
I bought my Bassman 135 from there years ago for $350, then sold it last year for the same price, so that was a good deal. They got about 3 Bassmans there now all priced around $600, but again, that's merely a suggestion and they're pretty cool about dealing with people.

It's hard to find much good talk on the 100 and 135, guitarists seem to hate them for the ultra linear design and bass players say not enough watts... But I loved my Windsor and it was a 100 watt amp albeit extremely dirty.

The 135's were ultra-linear. The 100's were not, had more character and were the better amp, IMO. I liked the "warm but still fairly clean" tone from my 135, but didn't like its overdrive at all (not musical distortion, just distortion) and could never get it loud enough and still keep its good sound.
The 100's and 135's both seem a bit underpowered compared to other 100-watters from Ampeg and Peavey. I think technically they hit their rated power, but the Fender tonestack is mid-scooped, and I don't think their lowend was filtered, so, you still had 6L6's trying to push a lot of 30-40hz, and thus seemed weak.
You could try one, but there's a lot of stuff out there you'd probably like better. The upside is that anything that says Fender on it is easy to sell to guitar players around here after you figure out it's not what you want for bass.
The output of the amp is basically 3 separate smaller amps, each with their own speaker jack. So, without 3 speakers plugged in, one for each output, you didn't hear all the power.
It'd be like having 3 amps, but only hooking a speaker up to 1 or 2 of them. Whichever ones don't have a speaker attached wouldn't be contributing any sound.
