I would have grabbed it off Reverb myself, except CME told me it weighs a portly 9.5 lbs. Plus, I'd have to pony up another 10% Illinois sales tax. If it was a pound lighter, I may not have been able to resist!

They're referring to that finish as "crackle". I'm wondering if it might actually be called "granite"? Where's the Hamer expert?

Edit: Weight stated as 9lbs 4oz, not 9.5lbs (confused it with another bass I had inquired about)
