For my IEM's I got blue because They Are my earrings. :smug:

There's no reason why we can't have the best of both worlds.

I love having that mix clarity and volume reduction using my IEMs, but some of the spots we play at don't have a good PA so we have to bring amps.

I run a direct out from the amps right into the IEM mixer get my tone and volume set on stage then pop in my IEMs for the show. I get to feel that bass during the show, but get to hear everyone nice and clear with no ear fatigue.

We can also run FOH from this same setup with the main outs with an iPad. We just put a couple of JBL's on sticks with a single sub for the kick drum.
