ok guys ive got a question about well....

Play it cool. She's obviously as nervous and unsure as you seem to be feeling - otherwise she wouldn't bring along her friends as her support group.

Be yourself. She LIKES YOU already because you are what you are. You've got it made!

Have fun! If you're a little nervous - tell her! It's good a conversation starter and she'll prob like the fact you're open and honest. Or don't - no big.

Gawd - I can't believe I'm posting love advice!!

And DON'T put yo' junk in her (popcorn) box - she'll think yer an ass and word'll get out ya acted like a BM(I).

figured id this:

she texts me a lot, mostly in the middle of her classes and its usually just to see what im doing and she says shes bored and stuff, and just that time she sent one asking what i was doing because she was waiting to fall asleep (keep in mind her friend is staying over tonight).

i dont know where this falls, but it cant hurt? can it?

Oftentimes guys will misinterpret these friend signals as actual interest in you. Several times in high school I thought I was doing well, when in actuality I wasn't even in the friend zone - I was in the creep zone.

If she's texting you in class etc. then that's probably a good sign. Ideally you want her texting/IMing you more than you text/IM her. If all she's doing is responding to you then that's bad, but if she initiates the conversations then you're at LEAST in the friend zone.

Another tip for these online/text encounters is to always hang up first. Tell her 'i gg' or whatever, and try to act busy. Chicks don't like guys who are always bored (ie boring). See how she reacts. If she gets clingy ("oh don't go, stay and talk to me") or something to that effect then you're doing well. Also remember: it isn't so much what you say as how you say it. I've seen guys say some really funny/interesting/insightful stuff only to get ignored because they were dorks, lacking in confidence or whatever. On the other hand, an average guy with good presentation/delivery will seem way more charismatic than he really is.

really good advice, thank you

BTW shes ALWAYS the one that texts me in class, but i will have to try the whole i g2g thing for the next couple times on msn

again thank you.

Of course girls are gonna say that it's a load of bull, but it's been proven time and time again to exist.

As for getting out...I really don't know. I guess the key is to not fall into it in the first place.

EDIT: Oh yeah, I just remembered something. I forget who posted it, but it seems to work: The "Knee Test". When you guys are sitting together, sit in closer to her and touch your knees to her's (getting into her personal space). If she moves and acts uncomfortable, she doesn't like you like that. If she doesn't, you have a green light. I wish I could remember who posted it.

That was me.

Thank you. Thank you very much.

For pete's sake, you don't have to go profess your love and scare her to death. Go to the movies. Go to the prom. Make moments where you are alone and look into her eyes. Most girls would prefer the guy just go for the kiss rather then stutter through some "I love you" speech.

You don't have to say it, show it. She obviously likes you. She wouldn't be hanging out and going to prom with you if she didn't. Bringing a friend is kind of a buffer, she may be nervous about being alone with you. Girls are like that.

Be attentive to her, talk and goof, and always leave before things start to get boring.

Our little Earl is growing up!

And I can't believe it hasn't been said yet:

No pic, no chick!!:hiding::hyper::help:

And we are also expecting a post-game report.

no pics, i dont want to spam her pic all over public forums, i have more respect then that, but i will give a post game wrap up lol.

btw she suggested sidney white (i think tha the name of it) for the moive:eek::cool:

Do not put your feelings into words, they'll come out like Dr. Suess' Guide To Digging A Pit In Your Basement For The One You Love. or How To Photograph Girls In Poor Lighting While Holding Today's Newspaper
Funniest thing I've seen all week. Well done, sir. :p

And I agree: NO serious speeches. Lose the stress and keep it light. If you know how to be funny (without being mean), use that.
