I have the TRex Chameleon and the Vodoo Labs ISO 5 under my board and while both are great I have had to start using the power supply that came with my Line 6 wireless. I use the G50 and every 3rd gig or so the wireless would power down then come back on very dimly lit and flickering. Never happens with its own power supply but happens with both the TRex and the Vodoo Labs. I don't ever use all the slots of either one and don't have any unusually power hungry pedals so it isn't a case of overloading.Mine may be an aberration but I've gone back and forth testing with consistent results over the course of a few months.

Thanks, nonDJ. I have the G30 which I planned on powering through my Voodoo Lab Pedal Power 2 plus. I'll test it before, otherwise, need to come up with plan B.

The only thing the Supa-Charger wouldn't power was my Effectrode PC-2A compressor, which requires 12 VDC at 350 mA. I've since downsized to a Pedaltrain Nano, and will probably end up using a CIOKS DC5 to power it, as the Supa-Charger won't fit.

Hi, did you ever try the DC5 with the Effectrode? I have a DC5 and am being offered an Effectrode to trade with my Diamond, just trying to work out if I can power the sucker!

You know what, I haven't gotten around to redoing my board yet. It should work just fine, though. The PC-2A requires 350 mA at 12 volts. The Cioks has two 300 mA 12 volt outlets that can be connected in parallel to double the amps available. However, other Effectrode pedals have varying requirements, so you'll have to check the specs on whichever pedal you're consisering using...

Effectrode replied to tell me the pedal needs 350mA minimum... I never got a reply from Cioks. Anyhow I got my PC-2A and the good news it works just fine with the 300mA 12V outlet! Just remember to use the red polarity inverter cable bundled with the Cioks. I've not tried maxing the gain on it or anything but it's perfectly happy at normal settings.

My 1-spot isn't too bad. I haven't noticed any hum yet, but that might be because my GK MBF800 has a slight d-class to it already.
