I fail to see the relation between size (I assume that is what you mean by leading manufacturer) and quality. If the biggest manufacturer was also the highest quality one then China would surpass America, because since 2010 they have become the world's leading one, and have recently increased their lead over the U.S.
Do you have any citation for your second claim? According to any list I've seen the U.S. is not high up in stability, and it is far from being the most competitive. It also has a very high gap between rich and poor, and one of the worst of the large ones in terms of investement in and quality of infrastructure.
What you are tops in seems to be thinking you are the best and so maybe this is why so many Americans believe they have little to learn from elsewhere. Sorry for the high jack but people from other countries get very tired of hearing these claims constantly with no evidence and less veracity, and it's insulting to the ones who are higher ranked in reality.
I don't follow your logic either as to why you mistrust the OP. Your reasons seem to be entirely subjective, and based on your other claims I have more faith in the OP than I do in you.
