Ok...tired subject, but I need advice.

Did you measure the resistance of each driver?

Are you POSITIVE that the series connections are correct and that you do not have polarity problems with the series pair(s)?

Can you post wiring pictures?

I moved the eminence drivers to the 2x12 wired parallel... working like a charm...I'm actually thinking about just wiring the remaining 2 parallel in the bottom half of the 4x12 and just using the 2 sicas for hole fillers...stack the 2x12 on top, to project at head level... basically making a 2 ohm 4x12 setup ... just some experimentation.... And yes, @agedhorse I confirmed the eminence drivers are 8 ohm and they are moving in the same direction... Pretty sure at this point the sicas are the weak link here...

The only access to the wiring is by pulling drivers so pictures are going to be an issue.... I'm pretty much done with trying to make the 6 drivers work together... calling it. Moving on...lol now At this point I'm just trying to make the most of the assorted parts I have.

Your previous post said that the Sica drivers in the 212 were fine as an 8 ohm cabinet. Was that not the case?

You can't simply use drivers as hole fillers, that grossly affects the tuning of the cabinet with the remaining drivers.

Respectfully, you are in way over your head with this project, and your communication skills are not helping you get to a GOOD solution. You keep jumping around like you are swatting at flys, and you are risking damage to your amp that could end up being a costly out of warrant repair.

You say that you need to save money, yet for what you have into your speaker "situation" right now, you could have bought a good used cabinet that you could have test played to see how it worked before dumping money down a rat hole in your continuing quest.

Honestly, while I can relate, and understand your circumstances of being a single dad with four kids, money is probably extremely tight. If you could swing it, why not build another 212 cabinet for your Eminence pair? If it's a good match with what you have built already, build another one. Two 212 cabinets should more than handle your volume requirements.

... you're right, but I didn't drop the money all at once...it was over a long time.... The sicas 2x12 works very well...and yes, I know my communication skills are nuts lol... My mind is bouncing around all the time with ideas and I suppose my words are just along for the ride... Let's get back to square one.... How about this: would it be a satisfactory situation if I just put the 4x12 to bed... leave it at home... And just pick up something like the ampeg pf115lf to mate with the 2x12?

Why is the bass more prominent when I stand 10 ft in front of my cab than when I stand 3 feet in front of it? Idk. Also, are headphones actually producing freqs below like 100hz? Again idk.

Yes, headphones typically have better low frequency extension than bass cabinets.

When you stand 10' in front, you are starting to take advantage of the ground boundary reinforcement which can improve the perceived sound. Also, moving around places you in different positions relative to all the other boundaries in the room, and their peak/valley response due to reinforcement and nulling from the acoustic contribution from all the boundaries. For example, if you were to walk around the room, you would see the SPL at low frequencies varying quite a bit (say +6/-6dB) from location to location throughout the room.

There are an awful lot of good quality used cabinets available that would suit your needs (including 810's) for dirt cheap if you don't mind heavy. You might have to sell off your current pile though in order to generate the needed funds.

Therein lies the problem...I don't have anything to play with while I sell/ buy... we're constantly playing shows...I'll probably just try to get by with the 2x12.. until I can raise the funds
