  1. Hello Childern of the low note,
My name is Rick and I started playing bass back just before they decided to make basses. At least thats how I feel. I'm 44 and started at the age of 9. It all began in church and on to the swing band at high shcool. To touring all over the country in the Southern Gospel Rehm of things . after a few years of this I was finally invited to start recording for various types of groups, Country, Gospel, and a lot of little groups that had big dreams and not any muciains. Had a ball then helped put a country project together and were invited to start opening fot the country Group "Reastless Heart" after a while this got to be a lot of work so I settled back down to my Gospel roots Although I dont play professionally any more I still like to perticipate in Jazz, Funk and Fusion just to stay sharp on my chops. I'm a grand paw now so I mostly play at church. :bassist:
