Older musicians that still bring it

Gene and Paul are pushing 60 and you won't find any more hardworkng guys than those two.

Riding that cable from the stage to the middle of the arena for "Love Gun",and "levitating" to the top of the light girders for "God Of Thunder" is no small deal.

One drummer I play with around here is pushing 50 (but looks at least 10 years younger), and he is ALWAYS working at least 3 or 4 different projects and sometimes getting double or even triple scale. Another very good drummer who I played with regularly for the last 6 years just turned 54. I did a gig 3 weekends ago with a drummer who is 61 (just a few years younger than my dad). Several very very good guitarists in my market run in that 50 to 60 age range as well.

Those are just some local examples. I'm "only" 45 but I seem to gravitate toward players in that age range (vs. younger than me) cause they have their poop in a group, they have good gear that they take care of, and they know what it takes to work together as a team to make music that sounds good and makes people dance.
