when i saw iron maiden last summer, bruce dickinson blew me away, 52 years and still sprinting around the stage, while singing, while never missing a single note!

Beat me to it. That guy is in fantastic shape, and can still belt out the high notes.

You're still a youngster!!(my own horn)
I'm 47, and most gig pics of me are blurry.
Thanks for that . . . I only wore that sombrero for a couple of songs one night in Houston . . . and now it´s become my "image" . . .It's the sombrero, isn't it? That is the source of your power.
Another old-timer that still brings it is Buddy Guy! Running around stage, walking into the audience, and still a guitar great!
They replaced Anderson, that's what. Also, you linked to a cruddy hand held AUD recording.
Well, here's your big chance to put up your own YouTube video showing the superiority your vox, keys, and bass playing. So, you need a professionally recorded version to hear how crappy the vocals are??
You think the 'cruddy' hand held camera somehow changed the vocal pitch and quality of the basic performance?
Benoit sounds like $hiT.
If the tempo were any slower we'd be lulled to sleep.

I guess I'll have to change my avatar now . . .. . .

BB King will be 86 on September 16, 2011 . . .How about Dick Dale! He's 73 and just returning to the road after defeating colon cancer. He plays like he's on fire.
And BB King...he may not even be able to stand for a concert anymore, but in his late 70's he's out there and playing well.
I described the recording as cruddy rather than the camera. Between the mic moving around and the various objects between it and the sound source, I don't consider recording of that type to be of sufficient quality to judge a musical performance. Also, take another listen to some of Jon's vocals- his intonation (though better than most and far better than mine) isn't anything to write home about either.
I saw him in '06 and '07 and he was great. He even was sick the first time.
