olp mm3 production years

Does anyone know what years the olp mm3 was in production? its a chinese 5 string stingray knock off. i wanted to see roughly how old mine is.

I would take a guess that the serial number will tell you, probably the first two numbers. Just look for an 06, etc, they werent made for that long I dont think. I would take another very rough guess that it was 05-08.

I know they stopped making them in mid to late 08 as I bought mine (MM32) around then and was told they had been discontinued. Ended up selling it used for more than I paid new! So the value of it may go up a bit in the long term if you didnt pay too much.
