Olympic white/tort guard precision - maple or rosewood fingerboard?

Alright, this is mostly (almost purely) cosmetic question.

I've got a great PJ custom made with a jazz neck profile. I'm planning on having the luthier make me a P bass neck because I like the chunkier meatier feel to it.

It's an olympic white precision body with a tort pickguard.
My current neck is flamed maple with ebony fingerboard, binding and matching headstock. Sexy.

I'm cool with either rosewood or full maple this time. I am kind of intrigued with maple since I've never owned a maple fingerboard before. Which to you looks better?

Yea I like em both, although somehow I feel maple goes perhaps better with black pickguard while rosewood goes great with tort guard.

I like both. I think that my VM Jaguar bass looks really good with the rosewood and blocks. I wish they would have painted the headstock. I would love to paint it to match.

I like both also. Maybe it's just a coincidence, but all of my P-Basses have maple boards; and all of my Jazzes (except for my AV '75 Reissue) have rosewood boards. With sunbursts, my clear preference is rosewood. With most colors of bass, it's easy for me to pick which board looks best. But Olympic (and most shades of white) are an anomaly. They really DO look good with either!

Do you mean the bass in the photo or the actual combination of white/tort/rosewood?
I think it looks superb, but the photo is not the best yea.
