Yeah GB is doing well. I've been pretty stoked on US coverage, because they have been doing some coverage of Olympians beyond the US. I saw one on a British cyclist, and one on the Jamaican world record holder and gold medalist for the 100m dash.

yes,, the guy posts a new world record in what is probalbly the highest profile discipline and you hear about it in the news?

actually those were just a couple of examples. It's a step in the right direction instead interviewing only US athletes.

No kidding, she held that lead for over an hour. I'm guessing its her last olympics aswell, she is 38 after all.

Its nice to feel the ol' Romanian blood pumping again.

Serious props to the British cycling program. Both British women took gold and silver in the individual track this morning. Silver in the men's time-trial road too!

Add that to Mark Cavandish's Tour de France stages, and wow! Nice Work!

I can see that Australia are likely to catch us up - but it's still amazing that as I write, Britain is still 3rd in the medal table!

What happened to Russia - I can see that people might be asking questions about their performance and trying to divert attention away.... ?

Yes it was great to watch - especially as New Zealand edged out Australia from a medal in the previous race!

I'd never watched pursuit racing till yesterday. It's a very strange sport to watch.

She never stopped running after she won. I believe she is still running somewhere. The best olympics that I can remember in recent times.
