Thanks for this. I will pass it on to our development engineer. We do have some interesting products coming soon. One of these will be a pre programmable amplifier ( very small which you can carry on your person via a shoulder strap ) which will have 500 power! Watch this space.

Hey guys, just got this email back from Ashdown re: a product suggestion I made. I live the idea of a 500watt mini-head. Wow.

Did you suggest a pedal pre I'd be interested in a high powered small head.

But then they'd have to make the mini cabs lighter as well, which would probably involve neo's which would then lose that ashdown sound I think since theres a lot in those blue line speakers.

Seriously, that is the price of both 1x10's and the head? Damn you, Ashdown! I just may have to get me a set!

And here I was about to say that it might be less expensive (and also very cool) to go for a Phil Jones Briefcase...

But back to the Ashdowns, is that the dealer price? Who quoted you that price? Are these available now?

Before we get too excited, lets remember how bad the SWR 1X10 sounds! And 65 watts? I'd rather use headphones to practice.

I love and use Ashdown, the price is great, and it looks righteous but...

That's an awful lot of gear to haul around for just 65 watts. Even if they are super light, you're basically buying a practice amp that takes two trips to carry. One of their higher powered combos (EB or Mag) would be so much smarter.

It's basically the same as the Marshall MG15 MSII, a cool mini-stack version of a full stack, also with 2 10" cabs. I own one, and it's prety cool

I wonder how close the cabs sound to the Mini 10T. I used to own one of those, and except for not having a lot of low end (not suitable for 5-string), it sounded pretty darn good.
