OMG! Jeff Berlin has no moustache!

I got triple shocked when I saw these news in the Cort website:

1- Jeff Berlin switched from Dean to Cort guitars!
2- His new bass doesn't have the expected Badass bridge!!
and
3- HE SHAVED HIS TRADEMARK MOUSTACHE!!!

The end of the world is near! REPENT!!!
. . . . . . .
In the other hand, he still specified Bartolini pickups, so that's reassuring.

Have you seen his recent players school series lessons on YouTube? They are great. Really great. He did a chord tone lesson which was amazing.

He seems much more mellow now too. Still has strong beliefs and backs them up well but they are tapered with more understanding.

I like what he is doing.

He recently got married I believe. That could have something to do with it.

I've always admired Jeff. Would love to go down and attend the "one week intensive" he offers every year.

I went a couple of years ago. It wasn't their usual one week intensive. I called the school and Vicki said she could fit me in whenever it was conveient for me. It happened to be a slow time of the year as the long term students were justy finishing up their semester, so I was the only one-weeker. I got a lot of one-on-one with Jeff and Matt Bokulic, his theory instructor. Very encouraging and patient, and were also just cool to hang out with.
