Surfing the web, with laziness, looking for something to eventually buy in the future...
I'm into the Bacchus jazz basses line in these days. But they are very hard to find in Italy. I could order from France, they have a return policy but I like to put my hands on instruments before. And I do have a nice mexican Fender Jazz...so...
Long story short, my gas for Bacchus was decreasing, I was looking for "someting" and BOOM.
I stepped into this MrB by Music Family. An italian project, created by 4 italian session players.
It's called "Father Bass". To me the name it's clearly inspired by Sheehan's "The Mother". EDIT "the Wife" thanks @BassikLee
Fenderish style headstock. Body: between a jazz bass (asymmetrical) and a telecaster guitar (one horn). Pickups: 3! A splittable humbucker at bridge, a sigle coil 50s P in the P Position, and an EB style humbucker at neck. Electronics: 5 positions switch Stratocaster style, active/passive, single/bucke switch.
Can anyone desire something more?
EDIT: the video is in italian guys...sorry...but the keywords are in english. The bass ran out of production after 4 years or so (due to lack of marketing capability in my opinion - price was not bad and it seems to sound very good to my ears), so I would by a used "rarity".
