I'm not sure if I should post this here or in the double bass section, but since we'll be talking about a 34" scale instrument I thought this is the more adequate place to post the thread.
So, as you can probably see from the title, my question is about the options I have to string my Omni Bass (NXT4). Other than the NS710 set by D'Addario, can I use regular bass strings? The ones I had in mind were also D'Addario - the XL Chrome ECB81M. Are they adequate or should I stick with the NS710?
