I'd keep the 5 because that's what I play...but realistically I'd keep both.
The MIJ P is sentimental to you and would be hard to replace should you ever want to do that down the road.
The 5 is certainly "more versatile" but it's hard to argue against a P bass since they work so well in literally every style of music.
