Only $2,000 to improve your amp's performance

Actually, only my special proprietary AC cables can improve your sound. These magical, mystical cables not only provide the cleanest power possible for your equipment, they also are able to (via a special alien technology that only a few of us are privy to) redesign your equipment and replace inferior components and designs instantaneously by simply plugging into the wall. Of course it goes without saying, the building's wiring is instantly replaced with our technology and the power company's inferior wiring is also upgraded along with instructions on how to run the power company with a 98% improvement in efficiency.

We don't actually have a product ready to ship yet, but we are seeking investors to help bring these exclusive concepts to fruition. We are moving in the direction of an IPO with an anticipated share price of only $2,000,000,000 per share. Get in on the bottom floor now.

Amusingly, the magnets in the large synchrotrons, including Fermilab in the US, are the ultimate power filters because they are superconducting. Huge amounts of energy are stored in the magnetic fields, to the point where it has to be carefully released when they shut the machine down. Fermilab in the US (and I presume the LHC as well) operates as a generator when it is de-energizing its magnets, and returns the energy to the power grid rather than wasting it as heat.

Hey guys,

As some of you read earlier, the MusicCord Pro arrived yesterday. I thought I'd toss up a few pix for you to either admire or ridicule. I am hopeful that I will be able to hook up with my friend at his studio early next week so we can test it out. Initial impressions are that it came nicely packaged, is big (duh), very high-quality and extremely well built (it better be), somewhat stiff and looks like it would survive several world tours without a hiccup or possibly even a nuclear blast. :D Storage bag is a nice addition. Last pic with a standard bass amp power cord for reference. Cost to my door: $159.00... :eek:

I will confess that I love the way that cord looks. I would pay double the cost of a regular IEC cord ($8.95) for it, but would not expect it to perform any better at all. It just looks bitchen, and that's what I'd pay for. That's also why I use ProCo Guardian Fat Max speaker cables. They just look bitchen, and it's a hedge in case the true believers are right.
 
Wow!! I would order a few, but I am going to just plug right in the breaker box and skip any chords between it and my amp. Sorry guys, but between frozen strings (Dean Markley) and colored strings, and aluminum speakers, etc. I just prefer what I have. And the people listening to our music will not no the difference 99.9% of the time. It's not the amp, its our ability (talent).

Make sure it's a double blind test, which means neither the user nor the person switching the cords is aware of which is which. It's the only testing method that's valid. And if you ever go to a cables forum using the phrase 'double blind testing' is forbidden, otherwise said forums would have no raison d'etre.

Double blind, prospective testing is the MOST valid method, but certainly not the only valid method. Personally I'd be happy with a tightly designed single-blind test in this case.
