Haha suckers! My amp already has tube OD and compression. So my 2 pedals would be my Octabvre and Q Tron. Adding 2 more would probably be phaser and delay.

DHA OD and a flanger; that was all I used when I had multi-fx. If it's not another pedal, the splitter to keep a clean bass going.
I must not know how to use my octave pedal correctly. I can't ever find a use for it and don't even love the way it sounds. I have an MXR octaver.

Probably my phaser and drive for rock music and my octave and filter for funk and jam music.
I hate to say it, but my comp is coming with me in both musical situations, too. That's one of those I can't go without.
So at the end of the day I'm still using 5 effects in any situation, and my current board has 8 pedals which gives me to ability to use one board for any work I do. Can you say, "woohoo!"

I find that you need a lot of sonic space to use an octave effectively in a group. Or do like me and use the octave with a filter and you'll be the only thing anyone hears :crazy:
I don't know why, but upon waking up I realized this answer was incorrect and felt compelled to change it.
OD and HOG2. I could probably lose everything but the HOG and something to re-texture the sound (currently the Hot Wax does it, but I am looking for an Alpha-Omega ultimately). The only problem with the HOG2 is the size which makes it almost impossible to travel with unless you bring the whole board.
