You're totally right and that was an error on my part. I didn't mean his genre, what I meant to type was his setting (i.e. in Kiss). Somewhere between my brain and my fingers, the alcohol took over and things got all twisted. My bad.

You're right, I didn't notice Gene waving his hands at the time of it. Ah well, he doesn't need to slap and pop and display flash and B@lls to prove he's a relatively good bassist.

I'd say that he's a good bassist SPECIFICALY because he DOESN'T slap and pop.
