I like Flea a lot. I think he's a very talented bass player! Can't say much more than that, I like his playing a lot and would be very happy if I turned out half as good on bass as he is!!!

Along comes someone who never studied, can't read, has loads of fun, ton of success, and can REALLY express himself - and they hate the guy.
