I have a C4 and I love it. Used live many times. Bought new in '04 and still have it. Wasn't able to surpass it until I got into high end US builds. Even then, the C4 still holds it's own against some very nice basses.
I've got a Schecter C4, love it!!!
Not the deluxe, just C4. Great player and a looker (cherry colored quited maple!) too! Never played a PRS bass but.....they make great guitars!
So who knows?

Thanks, it's nice to see someone recognizing his art. Most people only know Tool's album covers but i think there's much more to him than that.
That's the very best way to find out which one you like better, and it's cool you can try both. The PRS costs a tad more, but if it's the one that speaks to you - then go for it ... good luck & let us know which way you went.

I got the Schecter! Not because it had the most votes - actually I voted for PRS myself - but because it felt much better than the PRS in my hands. I don't yet know how to play but it was more comfortable I think. And I certainly loved the sound more. Also I might have fallen in love with how it looks. It has a few scars here and there but they don't bother me at all.
And I wanted to ask what do you guys think about this neck. Is this relief level normal? I have tried every fret and there is no buzz. I probably will try to lower the strings cause they look way high at the higher frets. Or should I take it to someone who knows about this stuff?
Also excuse my newbie soul but are we supposed to hear a very faint resonating sound when playing? I hear some weak sub-vibrations especially when playing the 7th fret on A. Is this a bass thing?

Its possible there's too much relief. Also could be the saddle height. Highly recommend you get it set up by a shop at least once, then you can maintain yourself.
Pretty cheap to set up a kit: Allan wrenches, screwdriver, capo and string ruler. Feeler gauges not absolutely necessary, but more precise than the ruler in some measurements.
A ruler like this, its super handy:
