ok so i have an epiphone 4 string i will post a pic not positive of the model cant seem to find one just like it, but i have had an offer to swap my epiphone 4 string and fender rumble 15 amp for a peavey 5 string, Peavey millenium ac exp to be exact im told it is in mint condition has avtive pickups that take 2 batteries, my main wonder is this a good trade and what kinda batteries am i gonna have to use on the pickups.

oh also if i do this swap i am not able to get an amp for awhile since im out of work, but i was wondering if there is a way to run it thru my pc system / speakers i am running a good set of logitech z5500 1000 watt so it should handle sound just wondeirng if i would wreck anythign by hookin it thru the pc
Do they teach punctuation in Canada? Sorry, but I had to ask. Yes, make the trade. Most basses (all?) take 9 volt batteries. Don't have a clue about your computer interface.
The amp that you have is a simple practice amp, easily replaced. It may take a while, but you will eventually be able to get an amp just as nice, and quite possibly nicer. I would make this deal all day long if I were you. Good luck!
