I've been a member of this forum for a few months now and I really enjoy it, I've made several comments about several basses & several subjects, and I've gotten some great advice.
Unfortunately I've seen many posts & threads where people's opinions about certain instruments causes others major heartburn.
I've also seen people get extremely offended over these written expressions of frustration, hate or love over instruments, and what ensues are nasty back & forth's that don't seem to benefit anybody.
All of us do what we do out of love for music (I hope) and all of us feel passionate about the instruments "we" play while others may have a completely different opinion about those instruments.
Thing is, we're each entitled to those opinions (negative & positive) the trick is in creating posts that gets to the heart of the matter without disrespecting others in the process.
How about we all just respect the fact that everybody is going to own, use, play, and love different tools…..and call it a day.
Tolerance & respect folks…………makes the world spin a lot smoother
