Orange 2x12 cab?

hmmm, interesting - perhaps if the speakers were replaced w/ Eminence or another brand? (I know new Orange bass cabs use Eminence speakers) Or would it be a whole f'd up wiring issue.

I'm not an electrical mad scientist, I just come up with off the wall ideas a lot of the time...

I wouldnt recommend that either because the cabinet would not be designed/tuned for those speakers if you replaced them. Seriously you are better off just buying a 2x12 which is specifically for bass.

check out avatar, mesa, genz benz

guitar cabinet speakers simply cannot handle the amount of wattage bass amps put out, and are not designed to vibrate the way bass demands.

Another Orange 15" is a great idea, but those things are pretty rare/expensive - I got a great deal on mine and don't really feel like paying full price for another...I like the 2x10 (or 2x12) on top of a 15" cause it's more portable - adding another 15" seems overkill...and I'm not in a DOOOOOOM band ;)

But seriously considering an Avatar 2x10 or 2x12 w/ orange tolex...anyone know how much those would run, or where to obtain one? Google isn't helping me...
