I'm not familiar with the tl606, but I have to say that
it's quite a difference between a Beta and a 15L.

Nope, They are PCB. IMO, If it sounds good and is reliable it doesn't really matter how it was wired.

I believe the poster’s statement concerned the pricing of the amp based on the production costs of using a PCB vs. point- to-point wiring. He did not address the sonic properties or the reliability of the amp based on its design. If I recall, the non-PCB version of the amp was priced significantly higher.

If 'Electricamps' are still made to UK Specs then it is still hand wiring on turret boards.

Does anybody know what speaker is in the OCB115.
Orange does not have the specs, and I can only
assume that since these are British amps
that it would probably come with either a Celestion or a Fane;
but I wouldn't be suprised to hear Eminence.

For the most part in the UK Orange used Celestion speakers it is possible that the US cabs were fitted with EVs on arrival to save shipping weight.

Thanks for the answers. I haven't wanted to bother j-raj about it but maybe he can give a definite answer to the
speaker in the OCB115 that is being imported into the US?!
