Naah. Nuts are sloped away from the fingerboard, and the fingerboard side is cut off square whereas the headstock side is curved.
Sadowsky is into traditional designs with updated equipment for recording. Their basic plan is to make a better Fender for people who like the sound but want more studio-worthy hardware. So they're not really into doing oddball stuff. But I bet if you offered 'em enough...
As for the scale length, you're right; but I've heard people say that different string lengths behind the nut affects the tone. Dunno how.
