The other day I was watching BET Jazz and I was treated to a performance of "Rosa Maria" and her perfect band. I MEAN PERFECT!! If you get BET Jazz I suggest you keep an eye out for them, really great to see. They performed a killer rendition of "California Dreamin" This guy Osmar Ventura was playing bass and he held it down and then some. It was an old show in a small club in Rio I believe. Apparently he's come out here to California too Invalid Link Removed and played with Patti Austin. Anyone else know any more info on him? It would like to get my hands on some more of his work
