our idiosyncrasies

I'm in the exact same boat, the only time I CAN be around someone eating is if I'm also eating and my own noises are drowning them out completely. It is the sickest thing in the world hearing people eat. I could listen to ANYTHING other than that. It actually kind of scares me how intensely I feel about this, and am scared it will get worse and interfere with my life.

ha... I've met other people it irritates, but never anyone else that gets irrationallly angry about it. I figured I was the only person wierd enough. I've always thought it'd get in the way of things, but usually if theres a few people in the room the general noise drowns things out.
