Out With The Warwick, In With The ???

By no means was I puttling Lull basses down. If I were to purchase a Fender jazz style bass it would no doubt be a Lull. There is no hype in the name with a Lull, every penny you spend is on the quality of the instrument. I let a translucent orange flamed maple 4 string get through my fingers one time and kicked myself for not jumping on it the same day I saw it as it was gone the next day. It looked like the one below except it was a 4 string.

RGD! Roscoe Georgia Division.

I've got access to woodworking machinery, and I need a job;)

:D

God Bless, Ray

There you go, RGD has its first employee. Since you work with wood, I need 2 pieces of wood cut to the same dimension as the Bart Classics in your bass. Then I need for you to route out the backs so I can install a new set of the Roscoe Jazz pickups but don't route all the way through the wooden P4s as I don't want the jazz pickup to show through. Maybe leave a 1\16". I need the jazz route shifted toward the neck on both of the wooden p4s. I am going to figure out how to get these jazz pickups in a P4 shell and into my Century Sig. :p

I'll come over and help, I spent a few years as a carpenter & joiner... and I've put a few basses together before! :D :hyper: :D

Look, we know how Irish guys are. You would show up to work drunk and cut your finger off. You would have to work as an Illegal Alien so Ray will not have to pay Workers Comp insurance on you.

Why not make "plugs" to fit in the body, with the J pickups on top? Use your fingerboard type. That way you can switch, especially if you add quick connects to both sides.

Will that work?

:D

Georgia doesn't require Comp if there are 3 employees or less not counting owners;):ninja:

'Sides all we'd hafta do is habla a Lil "Ey Spaniol", get a van to take to Home Depot, BAM! Ready made crew.:help:

I don't care if Bill is drunk as long as his Irish accent speaks understandable Spanish :hiding:

'shine you say..... I like it, what's known here as "cutting out the middleman" :D:D:D

Known in my woods as "owing the company store":ninja::p

You know how that goes, instead of Spanglish he would be speaking Spirish and no one would understand him. :D

Nunca me obtener Amuletos de la Suerte....:ninja:

Spanish for You'll never get me Lucky Charms:hiding:

Great stuff but you guys are definitely Thread busters!

... I do really love the "Spanglish" thing and Bill's moto "You can have my luck charms, you'll never get my whiskey!" is a real classic.
:D

It should be in your signature Bill!
